How do I book your service?

Please fill out the contact form with as much information as possible. A representative will be in contact with you to help plan out your day. A 50% non-refundable retainer is due to hold your day and the remaining balance is due 1 week before the proposal date.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit or debit cards without additional fees as well as cash or checks. You will receive an electronic invoice to make paying quick and easy.

I am from out of state but will be proposing in Southern California is that possible?

Absolutely. A lot of our couples are from out of state. We have a vast knowledge of great locations to pick from and through the use of technology you will be able to see the location without being here. We can also give you information on places to stay and visit while you are on vacation to help make your trip that much more special.

Do you shoot proposals outside of Southern California?

We mainly photograph proposal in Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego but we are available for other locations. Additional fees will be applied. Contact us for further information.

How many photographers work for your company and how do you control quality?

That is a great question. Here at Candid Proposal, we are a team of professionals but there is only one photographer to control the quality of our work. Other companies have random photographers working for them and can not guarantee the quality. What you see in our examples is the quality you will receive. Kevin Warn is an internationally published photographer who has shot around the world. We take quality very seriously.

How long until my images are ready?

Typical turnaround is 1 day. Video turnaround is about 2 weeks depending on the shoot.

What if the weather is horrible?

Cold weather or light rain is not enough to postpone a proposal. In the case of heavy rains or heavy winds, we will reschedule your date as long as it is available and your proposal was not time sensitive. If we are not able to reschedule 50% of your package fee will be returned to you. Items that had to be purchased or booked in advance are not available for refund.
